Give Online to Mission Memphis

End of Year Giving

For those wishing to make an end of year gift, the best way to do that is to give online. All gifts must be made by midnight on December 31. For any questions, email Steven Liles.

We give because He gave.

We are the recipients of the greatest gift the world has ever known—the love, grace, and mercy of God. Having freely received, our response is to give in thanks for all we have and are in Jesus. Generosity is about our hearts and our confidence in God. By giving, we have the privilege to become part of God’s mission to redeem and restore the world.

Beliefs on Giving

God created all things. Everything and everyone belongs to Him. Anything that we possess has been given to us by the Lord. Since God owns it and still gives it to us, we have the honor to steward it. Steward simply means to manage or look after.

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it. Psalm 24:1

Just as we worship God through singing and serving, giving is a form of worship to God. God gave us Jesus, His perfect and only Son, to die for our sins. Don’t read past this sacrificial gift! The financial gifts we give in return to God are motivated by this amazing grace He bestowed upon us.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

I say this not as a command, but to prove by the earnestness of others that your love also is genuine. For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:8-9

God instructs us to financially support the ministry of the church through consistent, sacrificial giving from a genuine heart of cheerfulness and generosity. The amount we give is a personal matter of prayer between the person and God.

Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. 1 Timothy 6:18

Giving freely from a heart of love is the highest level of relationship. As you consider your relationship with the King of Kings, how now shall you give?

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7

On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made. 1 Corinthians 16:2
