Mission Institute

Mission Institute exists to equip God's people to do God's work for God's glory.
11 And he himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ, 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of God’s Son, growing into maturity with a stature measured by Christ’s fullness.
Ephesians 4:11-13 CSB

The Mission Institute was established to obey the call given by the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 4:11-13. In this passage, he lays out the role of the local church in equipping the saints for ministry. We understand from this text that while some are called to specific ministry offices (v. 11), every saint is called to participate in the work of ministry (v. 12). In light of these truths, we have designed the institute's pillars with a dual focus: our classes and content pillars are dedicated to equipping the broader church membership (the saints), while the cohort pillar is specifically aimed at equipping church leadership (the some).

CLASSES
We have written a series of classes to equip the saints for the work of the ministry. The three classes build upon each other with the hope you are prepared and encouraged as you fulfill the mission of making gospel-centered disciples. Find out more information about the Mission Institute classes offered below.

CONTENT
Lord willing, we will open a Resource Center in Fall 2025 to help equip the people of Mission Church and beyond. We will offer content written both by the Mission Institute team and by other trusted sources.
As Mission Institute grows, more content will be added to the resources offered.

COHORT
The Cohort is for people who believe the Lord might be calling them into vocational ministry. We hope to begin the cohort in 2026 or 2027. If you are interested in being a part of the cohort in the future, please fill out the form below to let us know.
Mission Institute Courses
We believe that God ultimately uses people and not programs to make disciples. As a result, the role of these courses is not to make disciples, but to equip disciples for the ongoing work of the ministry. The goal is to see each participant equipped with a foundational and biblical theology, a gospel-centered and biblical worldview, a reproducible model of discipleship, and practical resources for making disciples. At the end of the three courses, a person should be equipped to go and make disciples as we are called to do in the Great Commission.
